Sneak Peek: Sarasota Memorial Cancer Institute

Tuesday, April 16, 2019

Construction is under way on the Sarasota Memorial Cancer Institute oncology tower. We invite you to watch this animated video tour for a sneak peek of what's to come.

The oncology tower, located on the Sarasota hospital's main campus, will function as the heart of SMH’s evolving cancer program. Its grounbreaking on April 16, 2019, moves Sarasota Memorial one step closer to realizing its mission to offer comprehensive and convenient, world-class cancer care close to home for area residents.

From the ground up, Sarasota Memorial’s Cancer Institute is designed to provide a patient-centered environment for services that cover the entire continuum of cancer care — from prevention, screening and diagnosis to treatment, clinical trials, and lifetime follow-up, survivorship care and support.

When complete in 2021, the tower will be part of an expanding center of excellence designed to bring together the best doctors, the latest research, the most advanced treatments and a lifetime of support and follow-up care for cancer patients.
