SARASOTA, Fla. – Sarasota Memorial Health Care System welcomed a new gynecologic oncologist to the health system’s First Physicians Group (FPG) network and our community this month.
Toni Kilts, DO, joins the FPG Gynecologic Oncology office at Hillview. Dr. Kilts earned her medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Kansas City, Mo., in 2013 and completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Christiana Care Health System in Wilmington, Del. She went on to complete a fellowship in gynecologic oncology in 2020 at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., where she also earned a Master of Science degree in Clinical and Translational Science.
Dr. Kilts specializes in the treatment of women with endometrial cancer, ovarian cancer, cervical cancer, vulvar cancer, gestational trophoblastic disease and complex surgical needs. Her surgical specialties include radical cytoreductive surgery and staging procedures, sentinel lymph node biopsy, fertility-sparing and risk-reducing surgery, and robotic and minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Kilts also cares for women with pre-invasive gynecologic disease, providing medical and surgical treatment for complex benign gynecologic conditions, such as endometriosis and extramammary Paget’s disease.
