Genitourinary Cancer Care Team
Each patient in Sarasota Memorial Cancer Institute’s comprehensive cancer program is cared for by a multi-disciplinary team of specialists to leverage the full extent of our providers’ expertise in diagnosing and treating cancers. Our board-certified physicians offer a personalized, patient-centered approach that provides the most effective, least invasive treatments available to address each patient’s physical, emotional and psychosocial needs for more holistic care.
Genitourinary cancer care teams can include urologic surgeons specialized in minimally invasive/robotic procedures for genitourologic disorders, medical and radiation oncologists, interventional radiologists, oncology-certified nurses, an oncology-certified social worker, patient navigators, palliative medicine specialists, genetic counselors, rehab therapists and others.
