It's the latest in a series of rankings and awards SMH received from Newsweek for 2024-2025:
Oct. 24, 2024 – America's Best-in-State Hospitals 2025
Rankings were compiled using quality metrics from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and the AHA Annual Survey of Hospitals Database, a nationwide online survey among medical professionals, results from HCAHPS patient experience surveys and a voluntary PROMs (Patient-Reported Outcome Measures) implementation survey. Sept. 25, 2024 – America’s Best Nursing Homes 2025
Sarasota Memorial Nursing & Rehabilitation Center was recognized among the nation’s top nursing homes, based on quality indicators, accreditations and resident satisfaction. In addition to being nationally ranked by Newsweek, Sarasota Memorial’s Nursing and Rehabilitation Center has repeatedly been listed among the nation’s best by U.S. News & World Report and other independent quality rating organizations. Located at 5640 Rand Blvd., Sarasota Memorial Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is a 120-bed facility that offers short- and long-term skilled nursing and rehabilitation for people recovering from surgery, injury or illness. July 24, 2024 – America's Best Specialized Hospitals 2024
SMH was ranked among the top U.S. hospitals for cardiology and neurology.
June 26, 2024 – America's Greatest Workplaces 2024
SMH ranked among the top of the nation’s largest employers (5,000-plus employees) across 78 industries, based on performance metrics and survey topics covering compensation/benefits, training and career progression, work-life balance and company culture.
March 1, 2024 – World's Best Hospitals
SMH maintained its place among the world’s best hospitals, which included 412 hospitals in the U.S. and 18 in Florida. SMH maintained its place as the fourth-ranked hospital in Florida and rose to No. 131 in the country.
