Newsweek Ranks SMH Among America's Best Hospitals for Specialty Care

Information is a powerful tool when you or someone you love is facing an important health care decision, especially one that requires selecting a hospital or care team. That's why Newsweek partnered with global research firm Statista to rank the America's best specialized hospitals.

It's the latest in a series of rankings and awards SMH received from Newsweek in 2024: 

July 24 – America's Best Specialized Hospitals 2024
SMH was ranked among the top U.S. hospitals for cardiology and neurology.

June 26 – America's Greatest Workplaces 2024
SMH ranked among the top of the nation’s largest employers (5,000-plus employees) across 78 industries, based on performance metrics and survey topics covering compensation/benefits, training and career progression, work-life balance and company culture.

March 1 – World's Best Hospitals
SMH maintained its place among the world’s best hospitals, which included 412 hospitals in the U.S. and 18 in Florida. SMH maintained its place as the fourth-ranked hospital in Florida and rose to No. 131 in the country.
