Sarasota Memorial’s latest addition to its expanding Behavioral Health services is the Cornell Behavioral Health Pavilion. The 3-story building offers a continuum of care – from acute inpatient care to intensive outpatient services – and features a collaborative team of mental health experts to ensure our community’s residents have access to quality and compassionate care.
Located on the Sarasota Memorial – Sarasota Campus, the new Cornell Behavioral Heath Pavilion was built from the ground up as a refuge for those seeking support and is the only hospital in the region offering specialized behavioral health care. The Cornell Pavilion replaced the outdated Bayside Center for Behavioral Health, and was designed using best practices and innovative design elements to provide a warm, welcoming environment where people of all ages can be comfortable seeking treatment.
The Cornell Behavioral Health Pavilion’s features include:
- 95,000 square feet focusing on the entire spectrum of mental health services, in one location
- 82 private inpatient suites across four units dedicated for adolescent, geriatric, adult and acute patient populations
- A sensory room on each patient floor, with customizable light and music for optimal rest and relaxation
- Common areas for patients including a gym, screened balconies and open-air gardens
- Group Therapy Rooms
