Epic Access
All Epic access will be coordinated directly through the Sarasota Memorial Healthcare System—not the Sarasota Medical Society. Our team is managing access decisions, onboarding, and timing to ensure everything is set up appropriately from both a clinical and security standpoint.
We are rolling out access in phases. Community providers who are closely affiliated with the hospital and need early access to support patient care are being prioritized first. If you are part of the initial group for EpicCare Link access, you have already been contacted with next steps.
If you have not yet received communication, it does not mean you’ve been missed. It simply means you are planned for a later phase. As we move forward, additional providers will be reviewed and onboarded in waves, with the right level of access, training, and support.
We appreciate your patience as we take a thoughtful approach to this rollout. Our goal is to make sure access is meaningful, secure, and works well for your day-to-day practice.
