June 1 marks the start of National CPR & AED Awareness Week
The first week in June is National CPR/AED Awareness Month, a time the nation set aside to highlight the importance of knowing CPR and how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Each year approximately 300,000 people suffer sudden cardiac arrest. Having at least one person in each household across the nation trained in CPR and the use of an AED can save the life of someone you love.
