For the next several weeks, our site will be "Under Construction" as we redesign and reinvent ourselves to offer you easier, quicker and more complete information, as well as a more visually stimulating look at Sarasota Memorial Healthcare Foundation, Inc. This new branding—a redesigned logo and our ENVISION Tomorrow's Patient Care, Today—will be the hallmark of our efforts to support Sarasota Memorial Health Care System (SMHCS) and other healthcare programs in Sarasota County.
ENVISION has been developed to provide you, our friends and supporters, with information about the changes in medicine in myriad areas at SMHCS, such as cardiology, oncology, neurology, pediatrics, technology and research, just to name a few. ENVISION will also share with you current program needs for our hospital.
The Healthcare Foundation has been through much growth since 1976, when the founding trustees saw the need for programs such as an open heart facility, an MRI, and bedside monitors…all leading edge and all new technology and programs for Sarasota.
Helping Sarasota Memorial provide the latest in technology advancements, thus recruiting many of the top physicians and clinicians to our area, and providing ongoing education to retain the best and brightest have been our trademarks. However, none of this is done without having a facility like Sarasota Memorial or having the amazing charitable support we are so fortunate to receive from our public.
So, please look for our changes, give us your feedback and most of all—stay involved. We have several great events planned for the coming year, so please look for the details under the Special Events tab......
