Sarasota Memorial and the community are always in need of funds to enhance the level of patient services, provide more advanced training for healthcare providers, and support initiatives to educate the Sarasota community about healthcare issues.
Q. What type of gifts can be given?
A. Commonly, gifts of checks (cash) or stocks are given. Many people choose to provide a most personal and thoughtful gift by including the Healthcare Foundation in their will or estate plans. There are other avenues available through annuity programs and trusts. Gifts may also be made online.
Q. Is my gift tax deductible?
A. Generally, yes. However, the IRS has instituted a gift substantiation rule that requires disclosure if you receive any goods or services in return for your contribution.

A. After nearly 25 years in our current location, we have moved our business office from 1838 Waldemere Street to 1515 South Osprey Avenue - Building B in the Pine Tree Center at the northeast corner of Waldemere Street and South Osprey Avenue. |
