Facilities Services consists of two distinct but linked
departments; Architecture and Construction/Renovations and Operation
of Plant. From the design of a new unit to renovations of an existing
area, both departments work hand in hand to fulfill our mission:
|
|
To
provide for safe, efficient, technology-advanced,
and aesthetically
pleasing facilities and a healing environment for our patients,
visitors, and staff. |
|
Architecture and Construction/Renovations is responsible for evaluating and facilitating building and
construction initiatives from design and development phases to
a finished structure/area that meets all American Institute of
Architects (AIA) code and regulatory requirements.
|
| Operation of Plant (OPL) is
responsible for maintaining new buildings, existing structures,
grounds, and associated equipment in a manner that compliments our
Facilities Mission Statement. OPL keeps current with testing and
repairs for code and regulatory requirements according to Centers for
Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Agency for Health Care
Administration (AHCA), Joint Commission of Accreditation for Hospital
Organizations (JCAHO) and other governing agencies on buildings and
systems.
