Sarasota Memorial Health Care System has an established Physician Liaison Team which is a component of the Marketing Department. Physician Liaisons are responsible for continually addressing the needs of our customers – physicians and their office staff.

Physician Liaisons function as the direct link between the physicians’ offices and hospital services. The team works to achieve positive relationships, improve communication, and increase customer satisfaction. The role of your personal Physician Liaison is to provide you information regarding new services, technologic advancements, upcoming events as well as pertinent hospital information. In addition, your Liaison will assist you and your staff in resolving any issues or concerns that may arise so you may be able to continually provide the best quality of care to the patients of our community. Sarasota Memorial Physician Liaisons do not recruit physicians or handle patient questions. Patients seeking a physician can locate one via our Physician Referral Service.
