Sarasota Memorial Health Care System has special volunteer opportunities for teens, ages 14-18. Teens are assigned to the departments of Child Care, Discharge Services, Gift Shop, as well as serving at the Waldemere service where they deliver flowers, mail and run errands for the nursing staff. 

Please note: The Summer 2013 session is full at this time.  The next session will be in the Fall of 2013.  The Fall session does have limited time slots available due to school schedules and we give priority to our current teens.  We are happy to accept your application and keep it on file in the event that we have openings at that time.  We will also hold your application for the Summer of 2014.

Teens will need to attend both a HOSPITAL orientation and a DEPARTMENTAL orientation.  See important dates box!
