Take a moment to relax at Sarasota Memorial HealthSquare, located in the center of Westfield Sarasota Square. HealthSquare offers free screenings and friendly staff to help answer questions about the hospital and services it provides. We also offer free health programs each month.

Golf Tournament & Fund Raiser
Sarasota Memorial Healthcare Foundation’s 12th Annual Golf Tournament will take place Friday, May 3, at Laurel Oak Country Club.

Registration starts at 11:30 am, with a shotgun start at 12:45 pm. Proceeds benefit the Physicians Endowment Fund, which supports staff education at SMH. Information: (941) 917-1286 or smhf.org.

Sarasota Memorial spine surgeons will present weekly lectures (May- June) highlighting the latest advancements in spine surgery, including minimally invasive and other options for treating back pain and discomfort.

Stroke Support Group
Board-certified art therapist Cara Levitt will discuss the benefits of art therapy and offer hands-on activities at Sarasota Memorial's next Stroke Support Group meeting, May 8, 10-11:30 am at Sarasota Memorial Hospital's conference room 4 A&B, 1700 S. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota.

National Cancer Survivors Day
Sarasota Memorial is proud to co-sponsor the National Cancer Survivors Day local community event, 1-3 pm Sunday, June 2, at Michael’s on East Ballroom, 1212 East Ave. (Midtown Plaza), Sarasota.

National Cancer Survivors Day is a celebration of life that is held in hundreds of communities nationwide and around the world. It is a celebration for those who have survived, an inspiration for those recently diagnosed, a gathering of support for families and an outreach to the community.

The Sarasota event is free and open to all cancer survivors and one guest. Seating is limited. Please RSVP by May 24: (941) 917-7777.

HealthFit Summer Kids Camp
